Who should attend

Doctors, nurses, dentists and dental nurses, care home and domiciliary care staff, healthcare assistants, support workers, and anyone whose role requires current BLS certification as part of mandatory training.

What to expect on the day

A practical, scenario-based session focused on getting your technique right to current Resuscitation Council UK standards, with plenty of hands-on manikin practice. Suitable for those refreshing annual competencies as well as anyone newer to BLS.

Your training is led by Martin Sanders — a serving Leeds firefighter and qualified Casualty Care Instructor who brings real front-line emergency experience to every session. Alongside his FAA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work, Martin holds recognised teaching and assessing qualifications, so you learn life-saving skills from someone who both uses them in the field and knows how to teach them. All first aid certificates are valid for three years.
