Accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB), it's ideal for schools, nurseries, food businesses and carers. Available at our Leeds centre or on site.
School and nursery staff, food and hospitality businesses, carers and support workers, sports and activity staff, and parents of children with known allergies.
A focused, practical session with hands-on auto-injector practice on trainer (dummy) devices, so you leave confident with the technique. Practical assessment on the day; you'll receive a FAIB-accredited certificate.
Schools, nurseries and food businesses across Leeds have trained with us since 2018.
Our first aid courses are accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB), whose qualifications meet HSE requirements. Our Level 3 Paediatric First Aid and Mental Health First Aid qualifications are awarded by Qualsafe Awards (Ofqual-regulated), and our CPR & Defibrillator (AED) training is certificated by Skills Training Group. Like the British Red Cross and St John Ambulance, our training meets the standards set by the HSE, Ofsted, the EYFS and the Department for Education.
Your training is led by Martin Sanders — a serving Leeds firefighter and qualified Casualty Care Instructor who brings real front-line emergency experience to every session. Alongside his FAA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work, Martin holds recognised teaching and assessing qualifications, so you learn life-saving skills from someone who both uses them in the field and knows how to teach them. All first aid certificates are valid for three years.

The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) is an independent organisation in the UK that accredits and monitors first aid training providers.
It was established to maintain high standards in the delivery of first aid training, following the Health and Safety Executive's (HSE) decision to cease directly approving first aid training providers in 2013.
FAIB ensures that its accredited providers comply with HSE regulations and industry requirements, offering businesses and individuals peace of mind that their training meets the necessary legal and professional standards.
The Federation of First Aid Training Organisations (FOFATO) is a UK-based body representing around 400 first aid training providers.
Established in September 2007 by Ian Kershaw MBE, former Head of the First Aid Approval and Monitoring Section within the Health and Safety Executive (HSE),
FOFATO aims to promote high standards in first aid training and provide a unified voice for the industry.
